What it does
Votes, and an order that follows them
The board reorders itself the moment somebody votes. The count is maintained by the database, so there is nothing to re-run and no cache to clear.
Ideas from outside, on your terms
Visitors can add requests. New ones wait for your approval before anyone else sees them, and that is the default rather than a setting you have to find.
A stage everyone can see
Under review, Planned, Shipped. People stop asking where something stands when where it stands is on the page.
Nobody has to sign up
A vote is remembered by a token in the visitor's own browser. No accounts to administer, no third-party cookie, and nothing following anybody around.
Spam has a bad day
A honeypot field, a per-IP hourly limit on a salted hash rather than an address, and moderation on by default.
Sorted your way, or theirs
Most wanted or most recent, and filtered by stage. The board reorders itself the moment a vote lands.
